Jamieson, Bob
In 1888 him and his father set out to hunt deer on the southern slope of what is now Copper Mountain. As they climbed this mountain, the elder Jamison stumbled and in doing so his foot dislodged a tuft of moss. Beneath it was shining copper ore. This caused a birth of a new industry and employment for 600 British Columbians.
