Evelyn and Albert divorced and he married Florence May (Higgs) Parsons on July 16, 1946 in Princeton, BC. This marriage was dissolved on May 17, 1957. He then married “Mauvie” Baird. He died on February 14, 1985 in Princeton, was cremated and is buried in the Princeton Cemetery.
Albert came to Princeton at the invitation of his uncle, George Aldous. He was a farmer until he moved to Princeton in 1936 where he worked in coal mines, had a trucking business (Aldous and Kolbo Transfer), farmed, worked for the Public Works, then went into logging.
In June 1939, he moved on to the ranch on Coalmont Road formerly occupied by George Aldous.
