Henry Harrison Avery Sr. died a few days prior to school board meeting December 21, 1915. He had been a senior trustee for the last 4 years and was now in the first year of his 2nd term of office. He was a secretary for the school board for a salary of $10 a month, and was also elected as a representative of the school district. Henry was married.
Accomplishments:
Henry Harrison Avery Sr. was chairman of the school board meeting July 10, 1915. He came from Nelson to Princeton and built the hardware store and one lot behind. In 1908 he bought a lot on Bridge street and Fenchurch (where Home Hardware now stands (2024))
