Berger, Max
Max Berger came to Princeton in May 1912.
The Similkameen Star noted on October 24, 1913, that Berger had bought out F. Shaw and, as representative of Rex Tailoring Company (Toronto), planned to carry on a general tailoring and clothes cleaning business in Princeton.
In March 1914, he hired Charles M. Carr and moved to premises three doors north of the Princess Theatre. In his larger premises, he hired K. Zuderzig/Zuiderweg/Zuderzig, a tailor from San Francisco, CA, and later (April 1915) sold to him. But, by July 1915, William Bryson was the “successor to Max Berger” at Bryson’s newly named “Princeton Tailor Shop.”
He was a member of the Dramatic Order of the Knights of Khorassan (D.O.K.K.).
