Olav (Ole Aardal was born on December 8, 1908 in Sandane, Norway.
He married Josephine Johnsen/Johnson (married name Konradsen/Konradson), a widow, on November 8, 1941 in Princeton, BC. At the time of their marriage, he was working and living at Copper Mountain, BC.
He died on August 10,1995 at the Princeton General Hospital.
Ole Aardal came to Canada in search of work on prairie farms and eventually ended up in Vancouver. The mine at Copper Mountain had just opened so he came to Princeton and worked as an underground miner. After he married Josephine, they moved to Copper Mountain where they raised two children.
They moved to Texada Island when the Copper Mountain mine closed and came back to Princeton around 1975.
