Charles “Charlie” Allison, Jr. was born on January 16, 1894 at Hedley, BC. He was the son of Chief Charles Enoch Allison, Sr. and Millie (Price) Allison. He married Mary Ann Allison. He died on March 10, 1981 at Penticton General Hospital and is buried in the Hedley Mission Cemetery.
He was the Chief of the Upper Similkameen Indian Band (Upper Smelqmix).
Charlie Allison, Jr. competed in the Princeton Stampede (Dominion Day) in July 1917. He won the steer riding competition.
In 1933, Chief Charlie Allison and Father Cullinan organized a bazaar at the Indian Mission at Hedley.
Sadly, in January 1938, Mary Ann and Charlie Allison buried their infant son.
At some point prior to 1938, Charlie Allison moved to Chilliwack.
