Alvo von Alvensleben has no known connection with Princeton, other than a couple of mentions in the Princeton Star and the Similkameen Star.
He was known as Alvo von Alvensleben and at one time a BC timber owner (1920) and a mover and shaker in Vancouver before World War I (more here).
He was on the Board of Directors of the Bank of Vancouver (1914).
There is a 18-page typescript essay by Mary Louise Stacey (1988) available at the BC Archives: “Who was Alvon von Alvensleben?”
