Baldwin, Stanley

Stanley Baldwin was the eldest son of Alfred and Elsie Baker and he came with them to the ranch (known as the Cunard Place near Jura School) on October 1938. He joined the army in early 1940. He was severely wounded in July 1944, and was one of the first stretcher cases brought back to Canada in August of 1944. He went back to England in September 1945, married and had a son and daughÂter. He was in the Civil Service, in England, until he retired. He died in February 1989.
