Joseph John Beausoleil
Joseph John Beausoleil was born to Felix and Lorraine Beausoleil and was the eldest of 8. All of Dad’s family lived in Ontario but one of his favourite cousins moved to Vancouver. Drena invited Dad and her brother Raymond for a visit and that is when Dad fell in love with beautiful British Columbia. This is where he met our mother Sharon, (who was also born and raised in Ontario). They got married and shortly after moved to Princeton because of Jack French. They came to live in Princeton in 1968 of August. Joe worked with Jack French at Furnaceman in Vancouver. They lived on the Merritt highway on the Kendrik property. Sharon loved softball; Joe was a hunter and a fisherman; bought a piece of property on the Merritt highway just down the road from Jack and Helen and played at being cowboys. Sharon and Joe had three children in quick succession Joseph Micheal Beausoleil, Stacey Ligtenberg (John) and Robert Beausoleil (Shanna Nelson). Dad made many friends between working (Weyerhaeuser), golfing, hunting, camping, playing hockey, flying, fishing, poker, crib, slow pitch and just meeting the guys to BS at the A&W.
