Camsell, Charles
Charles Camsell was appointed geologist with the Geological Survey in 1904, became chief exploration geologist in 1914 and deputy minister of mines in 1920, a post he held until retirement in 1946.

Camsell attended the meeting of the Canadian Mining Institute at Merritt (continued at Princeton, November 10, 1917) on Nov. 7, 1917.
Founded the Canadian Geographical Society in 1929
