Etta Corsi was born on June 2, 1923 in the mining camp at Copper Mountain. She was the youngest daughter of Alexander Corsi and Palmira (Helrigel) Corsi (later, Vittoni). She married William Moore Ferguson on May 27, 1944 at the family ranch at Wolfe Creek. She died at Princeton, BC on February 9, 2000. At the time of her death, she was living at Copper Mountain.
Ferguson was one of the first directors for the Women’s Institute (WI) in 1952. She was the secretary of the WI in 1954. She baked cakes, etc. for sale and was on the staff of the Lorna Mae Bakery in 1980.
The family lived on One Mile Road.
