1912 – First class Russell auto which he operated on the Coalmont-Merritt run, that landed passengers and mail at the coast in less than 48 hours (the trip previously took 3 days) He was from Tulameen and ranched there in 1901, Star Mar 23, 1901. Sold his barn, livery and stage business at Tulameen to W.S. Garrison, princeton (May, 1913) Established the Jackson House because the Coal company came into Princeton in 1898. Where the Princeton Hotel was in 1930. (Ref: Pr. H.S) Sold out to Al. Manly and Pete Swanson 1906 then opened store at Tulameen which he later sold to Jim Schubert Was the Postmaster at Tulameen from 1-3-07 to 15-7-10 Born in New Brunswick 1849 Came to Princeton spring of 1898 Partner in mining ventures with Geo. Aldous. He was camping alone in the fall of 1928 when his fire broke away from him. He was found by Podunk Davis (W.A.) after a search of some dyas, and Const. Vic Palmer 4 1/2 mi. from Cedar Creek, a tributary of the Tulameen Arrived 1898 – 9 Hotel Owner
