Mary Jane Angstadt was born on May 31, 1907 at Aspen Grove, BC. She married Jim McDermot on July 15, 1924 at her family home in Aspen Grove. She died on November 14, 1979 at Vernon Jubilee Hospital and is buried in the Princeton Cemetery.
At the time of their marriage in 1924, Jim McDermot was a rancher living at Aspen Grove, BC.
In March 1931, Jim McDermot called a novelty dance “The Canadian quadrille” at a [P.T.A?] dance in Blakeburn.
July 1940, the McDermot family was living at Tulmeen.
They also, at one time, lived south of the Manion’s place (near Tulameen?).
