Mr. Kerr was born at Tiverton, Ont. February 24th, 1881. His father John Kerr, was a wagon-maker and later a railroad man out of Great Falls, Montana. Robert came to Rossland, B.C. in 1903, and to the Great Northern Railway, to Princeton in 1911. He was also a fireman conductor for the C.P.R. He was in the First World War and was listed as missing (His name maybe still on the Phoenix monument.) Afterwards he turned up. He was a pioneer
