K. Seaman Owned the ‘bunch grass field’ (pasture land) about twenty miles from Princeton on Summers Creek, the creek being named after him. He raised cattle and other farm animals and sold hay. Still resided there with his wife in the early 40’s. Owned the Similkameen Hotel on Vermilion Avenue across from the school, it was burned to the ground in 1930 Christopher (Kit) Summers was born around 1870 in England Ellen Christena (Huey) Summers was born on January 7, 1881 in Portland, Oregon He came to Princeton in 1893/94 Kit and Christena were married April 9 1913 Arrived in Princeton in 1892 (here in 32) In partnership with Charles Hunter Bensamin Bonew in the Tulameen Valley Coal Co. – Summers withdrew, Partnership dissolved. In partnership with Wardle; owners of Similkameen Hotel 1912 Bought Barber Shop and Baths (shop and fictures) from Frank Wilms. Jack Greenwood of Trail has rented and opened the barber shop
