He was Princetons first postmaster, opened the first regular advertisment store 1900, was one of the first directors of the hospital, first president of the board of trade and one of the pioneer justices of the peace. He died May 25th, 1929 . Chairman of Princeton Conservation Association in 1912. President at school board Annual meetings July 10/16 – See school board minutes. In 1901 he was also the liquor license commissioner. He was a bachelor 1st Princeton Postmaster at Princeton from 1-11-95 to 20-1-05 His store was the first building on the right as you come across the Tulameen Bridge. Rented it to Charles Harris the asseyor and W.S. Wilson built him a new store on the opposite side of the road. Afterwards lived on One Mile creek about 4 miles from town. Job Calls stayed with him.
