Photo mounted on card of Mr. James Wright, the publisher of the Similkameen Star in 1911 who later became the King’s Printer in Victoria. Handwritten inscription on back reads: Mr. James Wright Princeton Similkameen Star Maurice’s father (Daddy Wright).

This is James McNish Wright (1860-1916). Manager and then proprietor of the Similkameen Star (c.1903-c.1914). Obituary – Similkameen Star, Friday, November 10, 1916, page 1.
His son was James Maurice Wright (1905-1997) (whose death registration shows he was a government printer)
