William Clement was born on March 14, 1872 in the Village of Mount Brydges, ON. He died in Summerland on August 18, 1950.
William (Billy) Clement owned property near the Jellico Station. He was the Justice of the Peace and looked after all the rowdies along the Five Mile Valley. He used a dugout under the back of his cabin as a jail.
Accomplishments:
Postmaster at Bankier, BC, from October 1934 until April 1947.
