Reginald Edward Cook was born on January 22, 1905 in England. He married Jessie Dick, a biscuit packer at Ormonds Ltd., in Esquimalt, BC, on July 27, 1928. He died in the Veteran’s Hospital in Victoria, BC, on May 19, 1970. At the time of his death, he was a spray painter at the H.M.C. dockyard.
He was a Sergeant Major in 1943 with the Irish Fusiliers in the Canadian Army. He was promoted to Quartermaster Sergeant Instructor.
He appears in the Princeton 1946 Directory as being in active service. Similkameen Star subscriber September 1947. Address: Princeton
