Countrymen Place
The Countrymen place was at the mouth of Red Creek where it dumps into Five Mile Creek. They had left before 1920 and two bachelors moved onto
the place – Bill Duncan and Duncan Bill. They were not around long and Nels Olson and Folke Anderson took over the Countrymen place. Folke married Cleon Jones from down the valley and they moved to Terrace. Folke died years ago and Cleon lives at Burns Lake today. Nels Olson married another one of the Jones girls, Theresa. They also left the valley.
