A. Cox was the chief engineer at the B.C. Portland Cement Company, Sept. 1913.
Were great friends of William Hyatt Miller’s parents, when the plant closed they prepared to leave for England so he could join his regiment. Mrs. Cox gave William Hyatt Miller’s mother a beautiful album of Mendelsohn’s music .They came back and lived in Vancouver until WWI ended.
