Leonard Alleyne Dodd was born in Yale, BC,* on June 22, 1879. He married Annie Whitebread on April 15, 1909 (both were living in Arrowhead, BC). At this time, he was a provincial constable. As a widower, he married widowed school teacher Helen Hobbs (nee Wood) in Grand Forks, BC. in July 31, 1943. He was living in Greenwood and she was living in Kettle Valley, BC. He died March 25, 1957 in Greenwood, BC.
Leonard and Annie Dobbs were in Princeton in 1932.
* His birth and baptism records indicate he was born in Yale, BC. However, his marriage and death registrations record that he was born in New Westminster, BC.
