William Eddy came to Canada in 1890s. He ran a butcher shop in Keremeos in 1917 and moved to Princeton in 1919. In 1920, he married Florence Macaulay who was born in Canmore, Alberta. They had four children: Jean, Alan, Aulay and Belle. The family lived in town for a while then later moved to the farm directly above Taylors’ Mill. They supplied eggs and chickens to the local grocery store for several years. Bill passed away in 1963. Had a report of pottery fragments somewhere along the south bank of the Similkameen River, between Princeton and Hedley. Similkameen Historical Ass. 1936 Also W. Eddy Star Sub 12/45 add. Princeton
