Amelia Horricks Gilham was born in Bolton, Lancashire England on August 4, 1889. She came to Princeton with her mother who had a brother in Princeton, (John Horricks), after her father died in 1912. She worked as a Sunday School Teacher. Her places of residence were Coalmont and Princeton. She married Alfred Gould in Princeton in January 1914. They were the first couple married in the St. Cuthbert’s Anglican Church on Billiter Street. They had two sons; Samson Alfred Gould Sr., born in Princeton December 25, 1914 and George Milner Gould, born in Princeton April 1, 1921. Amelia Horricks Gould died in Kamloops on February 14, 1990.

Survived by sons Sampson (Anna) of Nanaimo, George (Margaret) of Chelsea Quebec, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Active in church life. taught S.
