Born in Bohuslan, Sweden April 15, 1877 and passed away January 5, 1948. Arrived in Pheonix in 1901, at the age of 19 he was in New York working as a carpenter for three years, returned to sweden, moved to Kaslo BC. At one time, (Sim Star 1955 Hotels ) owned the Tulameen Hotel – took over in 1918 , sold out 1946 Advertised Sim * 1941. Sim* November 27, 1941 – in 1904 proprietor of the Central Hotel, Pheonix. In 1916 was a delegate to the Scandinavian convention, Seattle. In Princeton was a trustee winding up the affairs of the Princeton Lodge (1941) 1932 Donated $2 to organ fund, United Church. Came to Princeton in 1918. Was 1st president of first ski club in Canada
