Daniel Kraetor was born in Hillcrest, Alberta. He married Norma Charlotte Zubick on April 16, 1943 in Princeton, BC. He died at the Princeton General Hospital on January 21, 1998.
Danny Kraetor attended school in Coalmont from 1928 – 1931(?). He was promoted from Grade 4 to Grade 5 at the Princeton Public School in June 1932.
In October 1940, he was part of a group of fifteen young men who attended a month long course of military training in Vernon, B.C. He subsequently enlisted and at the time of his marriage in April 1943, he was with the Royal Canadian Artillery and stationed at Sidney, BC.
Later, he worked for Princeton Village and Town. He was a member of the Princeton Volunteer Fire Department.
