Robert Levack was born in Edinburgh, Scotland around 1891. He died on February 1, 1931 at home in Princeton, BC.
He came to Princeton in 1920. He worked first as an accountant for A.E. Howse Company and then postmaster at Princeton from August 21, 1925 until his death on February 1, 1931.
In World War I, Levack enlisted with the 2nd London Scottish Regiment. When he returned to Princeton, he was an inaugural member of the Princeton Ex-Service Men’s Association and became secretary of the group in November 1921.
He was a skilled golfer, winning the first interior championship in 1926.
