Bob was born in Val Marie, Saskatchewan and moved to Princeton in 1971. Pres. Lion’s Club 1976-7; N.D.P politics President, Princeton New Democratic Party Club 1985-6; St. Paul’s United Church Council 1987; Alderman Nov. 1987. He worked in the Government Agent’s office. President L.A to Can. Legion 1987-8.

He was well known for his involvement in the Princeton Lions Club for 25 years, Town of Princeton Councillor for two terms; and his lifetime commitment to the New Democratic Party. Bob received the Medal of Bravery on June 17, 1977 for his valiant attempt to save the lives of the Klassen family who were trapped in their burning station wagon following a three-car collision near Princeton, B.C. on July, 15, 1975.
