Rev Canon Albert James Williams peacefully at the Royal Jubilee Hospital on September 2, 1980. Born in Bristol, England January 11, 1885, Canon Williams was a missionary in China for many years and served in Princeton, Richmond and St. Marys, South Hill, Vancouver before retiring to Victoria where he was Honorary assistant at the Church of St. Johns The Divine. Service will be held Thursday September 4 at 2:30pm from St. Johns Church, 1611 Quadra St. Rev. R. McRae officiating. Followed by internment in Royal Oak Burial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Primate’s World Relief Fund. 600 Jarvis St. Toronto, M4Y 2J6 Hayward’s Thomson & Irving in care of arrangements Was then Rev. Williams when he was pastor of the St. Cuthberts Anglican Church from 1927 to 1930 Heard of in 1965 on the occasion of their golden wedding on June 24th.
