He was born in Vancouver on May 8, 1908. He married twice. He had a daughter, Sharron, with his first wife. In 1952, Ben brought his new wife, Joy, and her two daughters, Joan and Lynne, to Princeton. He was a teacher. They left Princeton in 1958. Benjamin passed away on March 13, 1994 in Ladner.
