James Adamson arrived in Princeton, likely from Cumberland, BC, at some time before June 1930. He signed on to work at the Blakeburn mine on June 30, 1930.
He died in the No. 4 tunnel, Blakeburn Mine, (Coalmont Collieries Ltd.) explosion on August 13, 1930. He was buried on August 24, 1930. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church.
At the time of his death, he was working as a rope-rider at the mine.
