Warren Andrews was born November 22, 1873 in Windsor Mills, Quebec. He died on June 3, 1967 in Princeton General Hospital. His death registration lists his occupation as carpenter/prospector in the ship and railroad industries. He had only been living in Princeton for 9 months before his death.
He had arrived in Princeton from Revelstoke shortly before The Similkameen Spotlight interviewed him in 1967. He went west when he was 24 years old and landed at Revelstoke on November 4, 1897. He had quit working for the railroad when he went out to help dig out men buried in the Rogers Pass area during a snow slide near Glacier. Quite a number lost their lives. He worked as a carpenter around mines, bridges and sawmills in the Revelstoke area.
