Brown, John Hugh

Birth Year: 1886

John Brown was born on June 27, 1886 at Parrsboro, NS. He had five sisters and four brothers. His father was a lumberman of Scotch Irish descent of Nova Scotia. He lived in Tabor, AB, coming to Fernie, BC, in 1903 at the age of 17. He did cooperage work at the Princeton Brewery. One son was Corporal Brown with the Princeton Detachment of the RCMP.
