Photo of a rock over which cable went to Blakeburn Creek. It was used to bring up mine cars, buckets and locomotive which went down after hitting a rock on the rail line in March 1935. Inscription on back reads: Lover’s Leap looking down cable to Blakeburn Creek. The cable was put in, and used, to bring up mine cars & buckets & locomotive which went down after hitting a rock on the rail line. (Mar. 12/35) July 1, 1983. Coalmont Collieries, Blakeburn.
