Malaysian puppet – comes in 3 parts – (A) – Head – hgihly painted head, carved face with small mustache and beard. Elaborate head dress. Head fits into the body piece. (B) Puppet body, carved to waist, jointed arms with stick handles, long fabric skirt. (C) long stick that fits upside the skirt and hold the head to the body – this is missing, but is noted on the museum card. This was a museum purchase.
