Susan Allison used the pseudonym Stratton Moir in her publication of In-cow-mas-ket. Stratton Moir was her Father’s and Brother’s name
Susan Allison was my great-Grandmother, and I am totally interested in anything she has had published. I own A Pioneer Gentlewoman in British Columbia and it mentions In-Cow-Mas-ket.
The museum tries to digitize any literature they can get from the Pioneers like Susan Allison, so keep checking the web site regularly. in the meantime we hope you enjoyed In-Cow-Mas-Ket.
I would absolutely like to see this. I have ties to the Similkameen.
