Addie Bingman was born August 22, 1874 in Illinois, USA. She married David Alexander Archibald and had seven children with him. After his death in June 1919, she married Frederick Rudin, a trapper and rancher, on December 26, 1919. She died on April 22, 1945, at the Princeton General Hospital.
Addie Rudin came to Princeton with David Archibald and their children in 1906. The last of their children, Donald Archibald, was born at Summers Creek on December 17, 1916. She taught the children at home.
It appears she moved to the Clearwater district with her sons, Dave and Jim, in early 1940. In April 1942, the Similkameen Star reported that she visited Princeton with Dave and Gladys and she planned to “stay a while in Similkameen.”
In September 1943, she was admitted to Princeton General Hospital and her son, Don, “delayed responding to his army call because of his mother’s sickness.”
