Chinese wood block print, a copy from the Polo Game – a mural of Prince Zhang Husi of the Tang Dynasty 618-907 AD. The replica of the mural is in the Peking Museum. Please note the shape of the legs of the horse (smaller than now – 1984) and the stomach (heavier than now – 1984) showing evolution of horse from then till now.
