Knife with yellowed bone or ivory handle, most probably ivory due to the ridges in the surface. Knife blade is rounded. Manufacturer stamps reads – Manufactured A.&.N.C.S.L Expressedly for Rustless Steel. On the other side of the knife it reads Firth Stainless. A & N.C.S.L stands for Army & Navy Co-op Society Ltd, which was operating from 1871 to 1934.
