Adams, R. N.
R.N. Adams bought the Princeton Livery and Feed Stables from Nenian “Neil” Huston in 1915 and operated the business until he sold it to F.C. Buckless in 1917.
After purchasing the stable, Adams planned to add a flour and feed business (1915) and he hired E. Foyle Smith to be the manager. In addition to the flour and feed business, he added a stage to Copper Mountain (1917).
The stable was located opposite Hotel Jackson.
In November 1916, the stable was broken into and a small amount of cash taken.
Adams sold the business to Frank C. Buckless on June 1, 1917.
He appears to have left Princeton at some point before 1918, as there is no entry for “Adams, R.N.” in the Princeton listing (Wrigley’s British Columbia Directory 1918).
