Rose Somerfeld was born in North Vancouver, BC. She married and had two children (Anthony and Charmaine). Rose Aiken underwent a double lung transplant. According to her obituary, she was unable to recover from the post surgery complications and died.
She was an active member of the Royal Purple, BC Emergency Social Services, and the Princeton and District Crisis Assistance Society.
