Alice May (Wisted) Alden (1899-1985)
Fay Alden was born on May 20, 1894 at Alsea, Oregon, USA. He married Alice May Wisted, of Myncaster, BC, in Grand Forks, BC, on July 10, 1919. At the time of his marriage, he was living in Molson, Washington, USA, and working as a farmer. He died on May 7, 1969 in Oroville, Okanogan County, Washington, USA.
Fay Alden came to Canada on July 18, 1919, through the Myncaster landing port.
He was registered for the draft in both World War I (1917) and World War II (1942). He served as a private in the Coast Artillery Corps (United States) in World War I.
In April 1930, they moved from their home on the “Silver Dollar” at Copper Mountain to Princeton. Sometime between 1934 and 1939, they moved to Penticton.
By 1950, they were living in North Richland, Benton, Washington, and he was working as a carpenter.
