Ken Alexander was born May 27, 1910 in Fernie, BC. He was teaching in Fernie when he married Irene Hamer on July 1, 1937 in Fernie, BC. He died on May 1, 2001 in Penticton, BC.
The Similkameen Star mentions Ken Alexander as being the supervising principal of Princeton Schools 1946 to 1951. He gave an address “Acceptance of the Buildings” at the official opening of the Princeton School Buildings on September 12, 1950.
He was a member of the Princeton Board of Trade (civic and local improvements committee) in 1946, as well as a Rotarian (1947, 1948). He was also one of the vice-presidents of the Memorial Park Committee in 1948. He also donated 36.00 to the park fund in 1948.
