Harry Allison was born on December 24, 1886 in Princeton, BC. He was the twelfth child of John Fall Allison and Susan Louisa (Moir) Allison. He married Kate Maley on November 24, 1919 in Princeton at the home of William Thomas. He died on May 6, 1951 at the Princeton General Hospital.

Obituary:
Princeton – One of Princeton’s few remaining native sons, Harold Archibald Allison, 64, died Sunday at Princeton General Hospital. Funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Princeton Mortuary to the family cemetery in East Princeton, Rev. John Goodfellow officating. The funeral will be under Legion auspices. The Allisons were among the Similkameen’s earliest settlers.
Mr.Allison was born in Princeton and attended school in Victoria. He served with the 54th Kootenay Battalion in World War I. For 26 years he was with the B.C. Forest Service, and for many years operated Allison’s Dairy. He was well known as a cattle rancher. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Harold and Ronald; three daughters, Mrs. Karl Freding, Mrs. Grant Young and Mrs. Dick Ashe; seven sisters, a brother and six grandchildren. Except for Mrs. Ashe, who is at nearby Copper Mountain, his sons and daughters all live in Princeton.
