Eva Knight was born in 1888 and married J.D. Andras in Lachine, Quebec on April 22, 1911. She died in 1979.
She arrived in Princeton, with her new husband, J.D. Andras, in May 1911.
Mrs. Andras was elected as treasurer to the Ladies’ Hospital Auxiliary. She was still active in the Ladies’ Hospital Auxiliary in January 1913.
In October 1917 , she was elected secretary of the Princeton Red Cross and she served in that position until July 1918, shortly before the Andras family left for Tugaske, Saskatchewan.
She was also involved with the Women’s Auxiliary of St. Cuthbert’s Church and resigned her position as secretary-treasurer in July 1918.
Two of the couple’s sons were born in Princeton: John (February 1912) and George (May 1913). She was assisted in May 1913 by her mother, Mrs. G. Knight and sister, Miss Knight (1913 ). In May of 1916, Angela and her two young sons travelled to Lachine, Quebec for a three month visit with relatives (May 1916) with Margaret Knight coming to Princeton in August 1917.
Angela Andras’ brother, was killed in action near Ypres, France in May 1915 .
