Louisa Josephine Roberts was born on June 11th, 1890, in Aspen Grove, BC. She married William “Bill” Angstadt on August 11, 1906, at the home of her father, Alonzo Roberts, in Aspen Grove. She died on August 23, 1987 at the Princeton General Hospital.
Her father, Alonzo Roberts, raised cattle between Lytton and Lillooet. He later moved to Aspen Grove. This was before the railroad was built through in 1885.
She was awarded the Provincial Centennial Pioneer Medallion in September 1971.
