Accomplishments:
Italian artist whose portraits were popular at the turn of the 20th century. His artwork featured prominently in postcards, advertisements, and novelty items such as cigarette cases, lighters and decorative plates. The English postcard company Raphael Tuck and Sons used Asti’s work extensively until 1911. He is considered to be one of the earliest pin-up artists.
