Robert Bond was the son of Frank Bond, Sr. and Janet (Macdonald) Bond. Bob was born in Scotland.
He was a customs agent and living in Osoyoos, BC. Bob married Priscilla Bryden in 1941.
His wife Priscilla (see Bond, Priscilla (Bryden)).
Bob spent months trying to find the best location to put up an arial for the first television in the area.

Survived Blakeburn Disaster, was not in the mine at that moment. He has attended several mine rescue memorials at Princeton Cemetery.
