Cramer, Robert Odell
Robert Cramer was a miner and prospector. He was born in Ohio, USA, on January 14, 1863. He moved west when he was young. He was on a big sheep ranch in Montana in 1882 and in Rossland, BC, for two years in 1896.
Cramer came to Princeton in 1896. He had a ranch on China Creek which he later sold to J. Corbett. In 1918, he moved to Neal Henderson’s ranch.
He died at Dave Walmsley’s on New Years Day 1926.
He did a lot of prospecting as well as ranching. In 1898 he located the Ada B. and the Silver Dollar claims on Copper Mtn. Associated with Wm. H. Morrison, Rossland in claims. Expended $313.74 on his behalf. If not paid claims will revert to subscriber (R.O. Cramer) Claims Ada B., Combination Ruby Day Yellow Jacket, You and I and Center Star Fraction on Copper mtn. and Copper Butte and Golden Eagle on Kennedy Mtn. Copper Mt. in Aspen Grove. Jan. 26, 1901.
Had mineral claim YELLOW JACKET with Peter Johnson on Copper Mtn. adjoining FRISCO m.c. Located September 21, 1898.
