Thomas Dobie was born in Stranaer, Scotland, July 19, 1880. He married Jean Thomson on November 10, 1923 in Vancouver, BC. At the time of his marriage, he was working as a fireman. In 1929, he was working as a Fireboss at Tulameen Coal Mines Ltd. He died in Trail, on July 17, 1962 (Occupation, retired electrician, mining industry – 1955).
